Lots to Report!

Hey, again. I know it's been a while since I talked to you all last, and a lot has happened. This past Tuesday I was elected as the Residence Hall Association Secretary for the 2010-2011 School year which means that I will be getting a 600 dollar room credit each semester next year. Yay!

Wednesday night I did a scavenger hunt that was hosted by Julia Sears and I have uploaded some pictures from that. I didn't really do very well, but I had a lot of fun with it and that is really all that matters. So one is of me in the Maverick Bullpen TV Lounge, and the other one is my perspective from sitting at the base of the clock tower and looking straight up.

Last Sunday I bowled in the Districts for the Pepsi Youth tournament and didn't bowl very good unfortunately only shooting a 500. Oh well, there is always next year which will indeed be my final year as a youth bowler before I have to make the jump to the adult leagues.

For those High School Seniors out there I have one question. Are you sick of filling out scholarship applications yet? I know I am. I have another batch that I will be sending out in the mail today which contains about 6-7 separate applications, and I have previously turned in about 4, so I am well on my way to a mega scholarship season. That's right I called it scholarship season and for those of you who haven't experienced it yet, congratulations, enjoy it while you can. The season runs from about early February until about mid April, although you will always have a few outliers and it is during this time that those of us who rely on outside help to pay for college are thouroughly swamped with finding reccomendations, filling out applications, and writing a different essay for each one. I am just so happy that I should only have one more year after this in which I will need to participate in this frantic rush for limited scholarship funds.

Well, hope you enjoyed the pictures, as much as I enjoyed taking them, and with that I will say so long until next week.
