This week was the picnic for the Student Ambassadors. The weather was wonderful and the food was great! Rodeo golf and bean bags were set up for down times. Not only were many of the Student Ambassadors there but the many of the admissions staff came to introduce themselves and thanked the ambassadors. We also announced the Students Ambassadors that had the most points for tours and other activities.
This week is the last week of actually classes before finals and I feel the stress of everything coming together. I had a laboratory final on Tuesday of a majority of the information we learned in throughout the semester. I looked at microscopes and answered questions about different hematology diseases. Next week I have a final on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I took off this weekend of work to focus time on each subject. Two out of my three finals are cumulative which means more information to review. Still to this day I don’t understand why in a class you get tested on a subject then get tested on it again at the end of the semester.
I have also been working with my advisor to help my major. Currently I am a Cytotechnology major with a minor in Chemistry. I have been looking into Microbiology major with a Minor in Chemistry. A lot of my decision depends on the availability of classes that I can get into. I guess I will be taking it one step at a time.
